Our journey started with the basics of ultrasound (literally A, B, C of Ultrasound…..) & only initials of “Pain Management”. Followed by a comprehensive fellowship course at Daradia Pain Clinic ( Kolkata, WB), India’s best Pain Management Foundation. With constant support & motivation from our family & fellow colleagues, we are growing slowly & steadily to transform ourselves into “Pain Management Experts”. And then this huge turnaround labeled by inviting both of us as a “Faculty” in PAIN MEDICINE for a National Workshop of INTERVENTIONAL PAIN MANAGEMENT ….. And also for INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE of RECENT ADVANCE IN PAIN,(ICRA PAIN 2021)

PRP थेरपी म्हणजे काय?

एखाद्या शारीरिक पेशीला दुखापत झाल्यानंतर त्याजागी त्याच जातीच्या पेशी तयार होणे म्हणजे रिजनरेशन (Regeneration) आणि या प्रक्रियेचा वापर रक्तामधील काही घटक वापरून औषधी स्वरूपात करणे याला रिजनरेटीव्ह मेडिसिन म्हणतात.
PRP हा एक रीजनरेटीव्ह मेडिसिनचा प्रकार आहे. याला LIQUID GOLD ( सुवर्ण द्रव्य ) असेही संबोधतात. या प्रक्रिये मधे रुग्णाच्या रक्तामधील प्लेटलेट हा घटक “रीजनरेशन” प्रक्रियेसाठी वापरण्यात येतो.

PRP थेरपी रिजनरेशनसाठी कशी उपयुक्त ठरते ?

आपल्या शरीरातील रक्त घटकामधे प्लेटलेट पेशी चे प्रमाण ० ४ % ( 4 In1000 ) असते त्या रक्ताला जेव्हा सेंट्रीफ्यूगेशन प्रक्रीया केली जाते तेव्हा पी आर पी तयार होते आणि त्यामध्ये 90-95 % ( 950 in 1000 ) प्लेटलेट्स पेशी एकत्रित होतात.या प्लेटलेट पेशीमध्ये अतिशय महत्वाचे असे प्रथिने व पेशी वाढीसाठी उपयुक्त असे 30 घटकद्रव्ये (Bioactive molecules ) असतात हे घटकद्रये व प्रथिने दुखापत झलेल्या पेशी ओळखतात आणि त्या पेशी ची वाढ होण्यास मदत करतात त्यामुळे पेशी वाढीचा वेग कित्येक पटीने वाढतो परिणाम स्वरूप दुखापतग्रस्त अवयव पूर्ववत होण्यास मदत होते.
